Extensis Group Named Crain’s 100 Best Places to Work in 2020

Extensis Group LLC was recently named among Crain’s 2020 Best Places to Work in New York. Based on a survey of 20,000 employees across all five New York boroughs, Extensis received recognition for providing an environment conducive to professional development and promoting a company culture where all employees are valued.

“Our exceptional employees are what make Extensis highly regarded throughout the field of HR,” said Blake Morris, CEO of Extensis. “We strive to provide a collaborative, supportive culture where employees are encouraged and empowered to take an autonomous approach toward customer service. Not only does this result in satisfied team members, we see this directly reflected in our high customer satisfaction ratings.”

As one of the largest broker-centric HR outsourcing firms in the country, Extensis recognizes the importance of thoughtful employee benefits in attracting top talent. Competitive compensation packages, generous performance-based bonuses, abundant opportunities for growth, paid time off for volunteer work, and other lifestyle-enhancing perks all contribute to a congenial atmosphere where team members achieve an optimum work/life balance.

Extensis also understands the value of providing team members with the tools and support necessary to do their best work. Flexible technology and a comprehensive business continuity plan positioned Extensis to pivot to a remote-work scenario at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic with minimal disruption to staff.

“We are in the business of helping our clients navigate change more smoothly, and we apply these principles to our own internal operations,” explained David Pearson, SVP, HR & Organizational Development. “Our teams were able to quickly transition to remote work and establish a solid foothold from which to assist our clients in implementing the necessary policies and procedures to help their own workforce respond to new demands resulting from the pandemic.”

To identify the Best Places to Work in New York, Crain’s partnered with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm, to survey over 20,000 employees throughout the city. Categories for assessment included leadership, company culture, benefits, and work environment, with winners published by Crain’s New York Business. Crain’s will hold a highly anticipated virtual event announcing the best-ranked companies live on December 3, 2020.

Earlier in the year, Extensis was also named a “2020 Top Workplace in NJ” by NJ Advance Media, and received the New Jersey Top Workplaces 2020 Award from NJ.com.
