SOC 1 report ensures company’s systems of controls are appropriate and operating effectively
Woodbridge, N.J. – January 18, 2022 – ExtensisHR, a nationally recognized Certified Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and HR Outsourcing (HRO) services provider, today announced it has successfully completed its Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) SOC 1 Type 2 examination.
The System and Organization Controls (SOC) examination is completed by an independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and provides transparency relative to the control environment between the company and its customers or stakeholders. The examination specifically reviewed management’s controls over the services provided by ExtensisHR to user entities when those controls are likely to be relevant to user entities’ internal control over financial reporting.
“A successful SOC examination validates our commitment to operating with the highest level of standards,” said Saul Shame, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ExtensisHR. “We believe in strict adherence with compliance and quality assurance, and this audit confirms to our clients that ExtensisHR handles all confidential information appropriately and with integrity. Trust is essential to a great working relationship and we’re proud to demonstrate that our procedures are verified by an independent, third-party organization on an annual basis.”
The examination was performed by EisnerAmper, a leading national audit, accounting, advisory, consulting and tax services organization. ExtensisHR’s customers, prospects, and partners can receive the SOC report upon request.
